Protocol 1

Induce happiness, 1 Hz TMS of right dorsolateral prefrontal cortex

1. Place TMS coil with current going in anterior direction, over right dorsolateral prefrontal cortex. Coordinates: 5 cm anterior to motor area for thumb
2. Stimulate at motor threshold (MT), 1 Hz, 15 minutes.
3. Assay mood with visual analog scale.

A. Seems to have larger effects in men than women.
